I know I didn't post in a while but you should know that this will be the way it will be on my backpacking trip next year as well.
On Sunday I left with my rental car from Bosnia to Croatia. As I have some vacation, I planned a little trip there for one week.
I arrived in a nice Hostel near Dubrovnik where I met three people which shared the room with me.
I spend my first two days in Dubrovnik with them and it was great! Its a beautiful old town, really recommendable!
The guys all told me how excited they were about the next station:
Greece - The Pink Palace.
The Palace is a great Hostel with place for about 500 Backpackers, with party all the time and a lot of activities like cliff jumping, toga parties, booze cruise, quad driving etc.
So after two of them left to catch their plane, I spontaneously decided to drive to Greece as well. And the girl which still stayed with me in my room joined me instead taking the bus. Of course it was cheaper as we only had to pay for gas this way (And me for the rental).
If you know anything about geography, you will know that is a hell of a trip! GoogleMaps told me 10 hours to drive, but at the end, we drove 18 hours plus 2 hours ferry to the beautiful island of Corfu!

By the way the road was through Montenegro and Albania, and Albania is not a very safe country..
After we arrived in Corfu at 4 AM on Tuesday, the party began, we partied with the others until six in the evening and then I went to sleep. At 9 AM, I got up and went to the beach with the guys where we met two girls from Canada. The next days they where always at our side, and it was a fun time.
All in all did we spend all the time, including mornings and nights, partying, skinny dipping, group showering, drinking, beach chilling and so on. This holidays was definitely exactly what I hope for in the next year!
My first spontaneous backpacking experience and at the same time the best holidays of my life so far! (Edit: Oh you know nothing yet John Snow..)
